Carbon Energy Solutions Newsletter - May 2008 - Carbon Energy Solutions had the privileged of visiting the viewing platform for the proposed development at Ebbsfleet Valley with Lembit Opek MP the Liberal Democrat for housing who was in Gravesham pushing for more sustainable housing developments in Kent. Ebbsfleet Valley  was originally dug for Clay which was first extracted by hand in the early 1900’s, up until the 1930’s were Chalk excavation began this was transported by rail to nearby Swanscombe cement works via a network of tunnels.
